What I think the reason might be..
OpenGL support on Nvidia Tegra 2, and most probably Samsung would be thinking about windows.
As windows 8 is going to be supported that means Samsung can easily release tablets with windows 8

And another reason could be the power of GPU. But no one seems to give power comparison between Tegra 2 GPUs with other mobile GPUs ..

Also, I don’t think that those early tests are not reliable…if it were, hummingbird would not be beating exynos so badly when running eygpt…or if they were accurate…r&d department needs some restructuring…
