because i cant reply to you...

robert kearns applies here becuase like him, apple was shown a product, declined it, then integrated that same product in its own system... generic idea or specific idea it doesnt matter, they still took it.

The only thing that Apple did that was revolutionary was the iPod (but only with the help of HP).

"Apple will sit on a product just to make you wait and make you pay for it later in an upgrade" should have said "will sit on a feature"... as in Turn by turn directions, Tethering...

im not describing the tech industry because i have no prob with upgrading tech.. i bought an icredible at release and a thunderbolt at release.. im talking about Apple becoming too controlling over the years. telling developers that there app has come too close to what apple thinks is too close to their own software (even tho there isnt anything that apple has thats similar).

im not ripping on Apple because they are "innovative"... im ripping on them because Jobs thinks that he should control every aspect of peoples experience with apples products and tries to tell them what they should be doing with it (Flash, Need for Apple branded Tv Dock, nothing Mature rated)

the robert kearns story happens to be a really good example of patent infringement.
im not sure how it applies to here though. wifi sync is a more generic idea then intermittent windshield wipers.

and yes, apple is a leader. wen the iphone came out was there anything like it? it was revolutionary.

"Apple will sit on a product just to make you wait and make you pay for it later in an upgrade"

you just described the entire tech industry. if youre worried about that then never buy bec something better will always come out in 6 months.

anyways i respect your opinion i just disagree. btw im not a fanboy dont have an iphone. i just think that its stupid wen people rip on apple for every little thing they do, especially wen there is much more severe copying than this that they did!

the reason why im gonna have to disagree with you, is because
#1 wifi sync is not new, its a generic idea. this guy didnt invent it.#2 apple doesnt look at any source code when they review apps, no chance they copied code.
#3 the guys app had apples generic wifi symbol in the middle, and besides ones silver the other blue. the arrows arent even the same shape! the symbols in my opinion are not so alike to make a case.
im not a fanboy, i have an android. its just everybody just loves ripping the leader. people should just stop making stories out of nothing.
