Iran is run by control freak lunatics who think that isolation is good (North Korea, anyone?) and that people’s freedom is an acceptable price to pay. Sadly, the US and EU are headed in the same direction, but there seems to be more resistance there…

there is no way any of you would understand what my friends and i have
been through in the past few years, I’m a 19 year old computer engineer,
and Internet is the most vital tool for my studies, but unfortunately
that has been compromised thanks to the our government’s “preemptive” decisions.
no one can hear us out here. we don’t have the authority to fight for our own rights and technically we are being treated like prisoners!
