The latest shuffle is still the best ipod Apple has ever designed. Fulfills the requirements of audio playback perfectly while everything superfluous has been stripped out, giving great battery life and price. Proper, focussed design that knows what it should be. This thing, on the other hand, is a confused mess of half-features that would fail to do anything you want it to do well. Terrible design, and ugly as sin too.

It’ll never happen. This concept is basically an iPod Touch cut in half. It’s too big for what the nano is intended for (strapping to arms for running, small pocket etc). It’s not meant to have a crazy amount of features. That’s what the Touch is for.
