Man, I hope they update the iPhoto app to where it's compatible for the iPod touch!
It says it's compatible for iPhone and iPad, but it needs to be compatible for iPod touch as well!
I even updated my iPod touch to iOS 5.1!

Last time I checked I'm carrying around my iPhotos Library from my Mac. Of course the photos are reduced because they simply are to match my iPads screen.

I can easily browse my photos and show everybody everything I've shot since 2005 to current.
Simply fire up iTunes, click on the photo tab and then either select what you want or all.

Hi Chris, thanks for sharing your ideas.

I suppose the answer is yes but just for checking. 1) Can you transfer the pics through devices at full resolution? Like in Photosync for example.
2) is it independent or integrated with iPhoto desktop library? Like sync events, or albums on the desktop with the iOS version.

Thank you.

It doesn't have access to your desktop's shared iPhoto library. iPhoto for Mac has had library sharing for many years now and iOS - 5 versions later - still does not support browsing your shared iPhoto library. It's absolutely ridiculous when the iPad is touted so much for how great is for showing off photos and playing around with them. It's a glaring omission by Apple that they do not do this. They've allowed us to connect to the iTunes shared library to watch our music, videos and podcasts. Why not do the same for iPhoto? I barely ever see you guys bring this up and I just wonder why? It's an obvious thing that they could/should include to me. A way to browse my iMac's complete iPhoto library from the couch. A way to optionally download an event, album or individual photo from that library to my iPad to take with me would be even better.
