Intel will manufacture one or two generations of ARM devices that will be faster than the rest of the industry offerings and will humiliate those. Then Apple will make the switch to an Apple-specific Intel SoC. Even further into the future Apple will have their customer specific chipsets for x86 notebooks and desktops. nvidia will be up for sale, Microsoft will look at bit stupid.

Thus we had A4 and current A5. Why would they want to use Intel in iP* is anyone’s guess. But I don’t think so. Go ARM all the way Apple save probably the desktop. Even then I’d wish if they’d just dump Intel altogether. Sorry Intel’s not in my good books nowadays.
