Well it looks like they were able to jailbreak the phone while acting as the attacker/thief. So if you’re able to jailbreak a locked/password-protected iPhone without knowing the password, that’s an issue.

But yeah, I’d mainly judge Apple’s security based on how easy/difficult it is to jailbreak… once jailbroken, it’s not really Apple that is managing the security of the phone anymore – it’s the jailbreakers.

Do people actually think any Apple product is secure? They’ve never dealt with security and most likely never will–just raise those walls around the garden a little higher and point the finger somewhere other than themselves. That’s not a security feature. . . though listening to Apple you would think it was.
