iPhone not too swish for public transport, seen on Caltrain

While it looks at first glance like a simple case of someone hiding in a train luggage rack and spying on boys, if you look carefully you’ll see it’s more likely a geek drooling uncontrollably at the sight of someone with an iPhone in the wild.  Taken on the Caltrain in San Francisco, apparently the unknown gent (who it has been suggested is Apple employee Mike Matas) was flicking back and through cover art in Cover Flow and generally enjoying his coveted toy.  Personally I would’ve leapt down and demanded to perform an impromptu iPhone review, but then I suspect that’s only the sort of thing Walt Mossberg could get away with.
