I’ve had a few WinMobile phones, some Crackberries, and 4 Android phones (rooted all of them), including the Nexus S. Because I work in IT, I’ve messed around with iPhones in the past but never used one myself and wasn’t even interested – I love Google and how Google products synced well with Android and I enjoyed the Android phones plenty. Then my job gave me an iPhone4s and I started using it regularly for everything. That was it: Out of all the phones I’ve ever used, none can compared to the iPhone. It’s not better than the rest, it’s about 10Xs better. I never thought I would buy an Apple product. But now my personal phone as well as my work phone its an iPhone4s.
These days I’m all about simplicity and stability whether it’s work or at home or anything else in between and I don’t have time to root or tweak or configure or etc, and I don’t care to either. I have better, more important, and more fun things to do with my life. It wasn’t always that way. but not it is. The iPhone fits my current lifestyle much better.Thank you.

You can arrange your apps any way you want. I put the apps i use most on the first page, any other apps i dont mind taking a second or two to get to.

Here in Australia there are tons of people with iPhones. In fact on the train every morning 90% of phones are iPhone (its funny when Marimba rings and every rushes to their pockets LOL). However, I was equally shocked when I spoke to some non-techy customers and they said that their next phone will be a HTC, not specifically Android, but an HTC. Looks like HTC is in the business!

That doesn’t surprise me, everything about the iPhone screams high quality. Plus it is soooo nice when you travel and visit hotels that have iphone dock clock radios, gym’s that have iphone ready treadmills to allow you to charge or play your media on a screen, rental cars that have iPhone connectors, your favorite restaurants have iphone apps etc. Plus, you want an iphone attachment for grilling hamburguers, radar detectors, metal detectors, blood pressure regulators? It’s available, probably at a store near you .

These are just a few of the little things that make you glad you have an iPhone. And I do mean a FEW.

Hyperbole much? My old Galaxy S I rarely crashes or lags. It only does so when I’m trying new ROMs or apps meant for 1GB RAM. Battery lasts 1 full day if I played a lot of games and 2 days with little to no gameplay. That’s pretty reliable. And if you check the sales charts, Samsung was only 0.5 million away from Apple in Q4 and beat Apple for 2011 as a whole. So the average consumer disagrees. On satisfaction, you have to keep in mind that Samsung sells everything from near dumb phones to their high end Galaxy S series. The satisfaction level is likely to be lower on lower end handsets and thus brought the average for Samsung down. If only the high end were being counted, Samsung would be beating HTC.

iPhone’s are just nice and reliable user friendly pieces of tech and fashionable too. If there are complaints it usually has to do with apple software updates. The satisfaction level would be higher if not for the recent battery drain issues.

Samsung always make great hardware, your complaints are software related even the battery drain issue has to do with the android os. I have had Samsung phones for over a decade when I got the galaxy s I wanted to throw it at a oncoming semi truck to give it death it deserved and run screaming back to my iPhone 3G. But after doing a lot of research and having a chance to try the galaxy s2 lte I realize it was just the software on that model. Lots of other models Samsung didn’t have that issue especially since most samsungs sold are lower end models Androids run a less resource intensive android version and lower hardware specs, so it not only doesn’t run a lot of software that tends to crash and be laggy in the first place its lower processor speeds drain the battery significantly less.

I’m surprised that Samsung scored even that high. They make the worst, battery draining, laggy crashing POS of a phone I’ve ever used. Never again.

Samsung must have paid people to rate them higher then they deserved.

there is the standard 80% that will stand by and defend their purchase regardless of whether they have tried another. this holds true for autos.Then there is a drop due to a small percentage that got lemons and encountered propblems getting them resolved.

Assuming that Apple iPhones and Android phones are equal, Apple invested in its first place standing with its Apple Care program, superior online Apple Store, and the same level of customer experience of itsmretail stores with Genius Bars. No other handset manufacturers has the product offering, brand and daring to make such costly investments. APPLE deserves the high customer satisfaction award because of its investment in these key areas, not necessarily because iPhone is a superior product. (I believe that iPhone overall, is the least troublesome to recommned to others )

AOL was “simpler” to use when it came to ISP’s but once the mass became comfortable with the internet, everybody abandoned their service. I think the same is currently happening to the iphone and eventually the ipad. There’s always a lag time before the general public realizes that apple’s “simplistic” approach will eventually cause them to fail.

I own a Gnex and previously a N1, I must say the N1 seemed (slightly) more satisfying to own, just slightly.

When mixing iphone into the story, I haven’t owned one. But I had to set up an iphone and used it for a short while to teach my uncle. I personally had no problem with it. However, he came from a cheap samsung droid. After attempting to do a few things, he was extremely frustrated by the whole experience:

* His iphone needed repairs twice, once for faulty bluetooth another for faulty battery.
* He just found it less “user friendly”. He didn’t like having to go to settings all the time, when on his droid, there was a settings key…

Lol I do have a galaxy s 2 I traded my iPhone 4′for it on Craigslist. The phone is nice but the os is choppy and really pointlessly complicated, and cluttered. if someone offered me an iPhone for this phone I’d trade back even if it’s only single core and all. Android is clearly made for people.

2 years ago the very large company I work for allowed the staff to bring or order any phone they wanted if it connected to Exchange by either Active Sync or in the case of Blackberry the BES Server, here we are 2 years later and Blackberry is taking a company wide death kneel, Android was very popular but now that its upgrade time, the Vast Majority are choosing the IPhone.
