If Apple made a half-sized iPhone that didn’t have features and tools that are redundant on the iPad, I’d buy a new mini iPhone and and a new iPad. Frankly, I don’t want smart features on a phone, I want them on a pad…I want a small, simple phone to text and talk.

Maybe Apple will produce one about the size of a BIC lighter called an iYiYi.

This quote is nonsense. The 10″ tablet market is also very congested and that has not been a problem for apple. The smartphone market is congested, the computer market is congested, etc. I don’t know whether Apple will release a 7″ tablet but I have no doubt that they could do so and be successful with it.

Aren’t you media types tired of playing Apple’s game? What about the new iPhone mega? Now they will have liquid metal. Can’t wait for solid metal.

Then we’ll have to wait for transparent aluminum (ooops, beam me up Scotty!!!). You know, Gorilla glass with fine aluminum dust mixed in. Sure, why not, the fans will believe it and pay dearly for it.

Not likely. It’s already on the small side for smartphones. If anything the next iPhone will be the same physical size with an increase in screen dimensions – but even that is fairly unlikely. Plus Chowdhry hasn’t accounted for the recent order Apple supposedly placed for 7.85″ panels… where does that fit in with his iPhone mini speculation?
