Looks all nice and fancy. But really.. After that theres no way to use them one handedly. Unless u happen to have ten fingers on 1 hand. Would be ok on the next non-homebutton ipad though.

It looks awkward to me. The exact same feature is present on webOS in using the gesture area…just slide the full length to switch apps in full screen. I think that is a lot more elegant as it just requires my thumb (one hand operation) and doesn’t cover the screen.

So I’d say that this solution looks like a gimmick (on the iPhone) compared to something more useful (on the iPad where there is more screen).

that would be stupid to remove the home button. using only multi gestures will kill the iphone, look how clunky it makes it look. you would HAVE to use two hands, when now you can just use two to do everything.

Too bad Apple said the feature won’t be available when the final version of iOS 4.3 is out, they’re clearly testing it with iOS devs to see if yanking the home button makes any sense at all. Promising feature IMO
