There seen to be a lot of these people out there who like to make mock ups, but there seems to be very little thought behind the designs. My 3GS (my first iPhone), feels beautiful in the hand, so I keep it naked, the cases and protectors are a real turn off, due to their feel. I might regret it if I drop it one day, but so far so good.

The design above and many of the other designs that float around the web, have fundamental design flaws. Run the glass all the way to the edge on an iMac is fine, I think on an iPhone you are just asking for trouble. This thing is also going to be held in the hand, so the angles are to sharp. The next iPhone will surely have a forward facing camera, and where are the light sensors.

I am more than happy with the current design, sure a better camera down the track, and the above mentioned forward facing camera. Some tweaks to the software here and there. They don't need to reinvent the wheel.

I really miss the dented look of my original metal iPhone.

If you remember back when the 3G came out they changed to plastic because a metal casing interfered with cellular signals. I don't miss it one bit. I think the plastic is much more elegant and user friendly. It does scratch however Its better than being scratched and dented.

If something has to change then I would vote for a larger size option and different color choices beyond the obvious, more storage, larger processor, additional memory.
Until then I will stick with these great color cases
