iPhone 6 and 6 Plus off-contract pricing official

Releasing the iPhone 6 and its slightly larger sibling, the iPhone 6 Plus for Apple means pushing a new pricing structure on the world. While the past several releases for new iPhones meant simply replacing the top iPhone with a newer one, this time around it's different. Things have gotten larger.

You can see our full original on-contract (with 2-year agreements) pricing structure in our article earlier today. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus pricing on-contract begins at $199 or $299 depending on how large you want your display.

But for off-contract pricing, here's how it all works:

iPhone 6 (4.7-inch display) off-contract

• 16GB: $649

• 32GB: (there is no 32GB model)

• 64GB: $749

• 128GB: $849

iPhone 6 Plus (5.5-inch display) off-contract

• 16GB: $749

• 32GB: (there is no 32GB model)

• 64GB: $849

• 128GB: $949

We're also looking into SIM-free pricing, which we must assume (for now) is extremely similar to contract-free pricing as this is the situation with each other iPhone on the market today. The Contract-free prices you see above are based on T-Mobile pricing quoted by Apple.

New off-contract (and SIM-free) pricing (same thing) for the rest of the iPhone collection starting today is as follows.

iPhone 5s

• 16GB: $549

• 32GB: $599

iPhone 5c

• 8GB: $549

• 16GB: (there is no model but the 8GB model)

The iPhone 5c will continue to be available in white, pink, yellow, blue, and green. Each of the other models will come in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray.
