iPhone 5S and 5C hit Russia, Spain, Italy, and more on October 25

Apple officially announced today that the iPhone 5S and 5C smartphones will be heading to more than 25 new countries on Friday, October 25. The major countries that will be getting the device include Italy, Russia, and Spain. Apple also announced the rollout of the new smartphones to a dozen additional countries in early November.

On Friday, November 1, the iPhone 5S and 5C smartphones will be available in India, Mexico, and a dozen other countries. The new iPhone smartphones have proved very popular and have sold very well in the initial launch locations, including the US and the UK. We reviewed the iPhone 5S when it launched and reviewed the iPhone 5C as well.

We've also spent hands-on time with the iPhone 5S and hands-on time with the iPhone 5C. The iPhone 5S has a 64-bit Apple designed A7 processor and an eight-megapixel iSight camera. The high-end smartphone sells for $199 for the 16 GB version, $299 for the 32 GB model, and $399 for the 64 GB model.

The iPhone 5C is significantly cheaper with a 16 GB version selling for $99 and the 32 GB version selling for $199. Some retailers have been selling the 16 GB version of the iPhone 5C for under $50.
