NOOO!!!!

It is NOT a "you have to hold it... blah blah blah" thingys! This thing is UGLY!!!!

Apple is all about symetry and clean lines. This thing is NONE of that! This thing is NOT anything close to what the iP5 will look like. Nor the 4S.

AND THANK GOD for that! I would NOT replace my 3 iPhones in my family plan with that eye sore and Apple knos it thats why they arent selling anything that even remotely resembles that ugly thing!

True to that, but I have an iPhone 4 and will not be upgrading for another year or so. My wife has the iphone 3G yes iphone 3G and will be upgrading to the iPhone 5. Upgrades every year is a good thing it means innovation is moving forward. That does not mean every year you upgrade but it does mean that in 2 or 3 years the leap is big enough that what you get will make you a very happy consumer which is all good.

Yes they can afford to do an incremental. Because you don't own Apple products you don't understand the mentality of Apple as a company. Its not about the numbers for Apple it has never been about spec. I don't see a game changer for iPhone 5 but more of a user changer maybe. Unlike Android which means nothing since its one OS in 100 different phones manufacturer (MS Windows anyone) Apple has no fear.

Sure one phone can do this better or that, but in the end most are cheap plastic "me too" phones. With lots of them not been able to run new programs after the last update. Apple never competes against them, never has.

Will the iPhone 5 be slimmer? Yes, with same or more battery life.

Will it have a bigger screen? No because it would take out the "retina" display.

Will it have a better camera,? Maybe on the back side, but not for video conference because of the lag issue. I use that camera all the time now on my iPhone and iPad and it works just fine if there is some light in the room. And it does not eat my whole bandwidth on the WiFi at home.

Does Apple care what people who do not understand the company or its products think? No.

Do people who buy Apple want another Windows Clone/Android Clone? No.

Will iPhone 5 be 9x more cable of playing games like the iPad 2. Yes it will actually I would say that will be the main push.

Not sure about the iTouch since it has always had a bit more power and been clocked much higher than the iPhone. I even see where the iTouch/iPad will become more in line with each other and the iPhone will be on its own when it comes to releases.

The real big thing for the next iPhone is the A5 chip with its much, much more powerful video processor. Also it will be the 1080p ability to output which will be limited to 720p when it comes to the iPhone 4 and iPad 1.

After owning Apple products people tend to understand what Apple is about, which is the experience and not another Me Too company.

Hms. I don't know. Some of these android phones are setting the bar higher and every time a new one comes out, it sets the bar even higher.

But I'll can tell you that if it dosen't come with 4G (especially LTE capability) and NFC, it won't be a game changer.

But the Nexus 3 will defiantly be a game changer.

What's "shady" about an annual refresh to a product line? It is not like each refresh is not a substantial update! Ok, so the iPhone to the iPhone 3G was somewhat incremental, but 3G to 3Gs was substantial. 3Gs to 4 was huge and it sounds like 4 to 5 will be substantial. The good news for consumers has been that AT&T has been willing to foot what amounts to $450 every year to reduce the cost of these upgrades even though the users were under contract for another year. Making upgrades virtually free if you sell your old phone.

Now you might have a case if you believe that the tech was there to make the iPhone 5 last year at or below the price it is being made today. But it appears that phones are just following the technology curve and updates that come out every year are more reasonable than the new phone every month system in the android camp.

So they release a new phone a year and some change later, with all upgraded internals every year? I'm surprised people still flock to these devices. Just seems like a shady business practice. And no doubt there will be lines and lines of people to purchase this "Magical" device that has some minor upgrades to the internal hardware.
