Every phone is worth double what we pay, because we pay a considerable lower price for it on a contract. You can find Androids and Iphones alike for more then what we would pay for them brand new on contract on Ebay. Stupid comment.

Wishlist for the next Jesus-phone:

1) LTE
2) NFC
3) 12MP Camera
4) Global multilingual Siri
5) 4.0 inch screen
6) Micro USB 3.0
7) Gorilla Glass 2
8) Better battery life
9) Dual SIM
10) Quad core A6 chip (to rival Tegra 3)

BTW, a 4.0 inch screen is just about optimal. It depends if you have bigger, manlier hands (like me), or dainty, manicured, smooth uncallused hands (the effeminate and the ladies). If you can grab a basketball with one hand you’ll be fine.

Neither 4.3 or 4.6 inch are very pocket-friendly sizes.

Original iPhone
3G (second generation but with 3G speeds)
3GS (third gen with 3G speeds but faster)
4 (fourth generation)
4S (fifth gen but faster)

Calling it the iPhone 5 would be silly because it would neither refer to the generation nor the data speed. Plus the following year they’d have the iPhone 5S which just looks ridiculous. Could you imagine selling the iPhone SS in Germany? I guess they could call it the 4G or 4GS (if it comes with LTE) but a lot of uninformed people have been calling the 4 the 4G for a year and a half anyway and that would just add to the confusion.

I DON’T want a bigger screen and really hope it’s not more than 4 inches. I will accept it if the device itself isn’t bigger and they just go to the edges or something.

I have my iPad for the times I need more real estate. The iPhone just feels right the way it is.

Surely you’re talking about android phones right? No android phone holds its value at all. You know whats great about my iphone 4s? ITS WORTH TWICE AS MUCH AS I BOUGHT IT FOR. Fucking retard, you know why I love my iphone? The keyboard doesn’t fuck up, it doesn’t have a million FC’s, also it makes it over 24 hours on a single charge. You know what? I had the SGSII, Epic 4g touch for around four months and you know what? Even rooted it was a piece of shit, well, you could drop it pretty hard and it survived but still. I love my iPhone 4s and wouldn’t trade it for anything, well except a iPhone 5 or SGS3 or Galaxy Note on sprint.

Don’t get me wrong, I used to LOVE android but google lost me, how can a phone that’s supposedly so far behind look so good? How come I don’t notice the screen size on this phone even though on the droid incredible or htc hero I couldn’t even handle it? I’m 6ft and 205 and I have huge hands and the screen is an awesome size.

Why does everyone keep calling it the iPhone 5? Where do these blog writers think that the 6th generation iPhone would be called the 5 just becuz the 5th generation wasn’t. There was never an iPhone 2 or 3, and despite that the 4th generation iPhone was still called the 4. I’m pretty sure the 5 name was skipped, and I’d bet money on that.

Hes not hating, it is literally scientific fact. EVERY one of my friends who has an iPhone says the exact same thing whenever they are confronted with my other friends who have droid phones. It’s a serious case of denial imo. They want the bigger screen, they just don’t want to admit that the new phone they paid $300 for isn’t worth its cost…oh well, I’ll stick with my larger screen phone, I like not zooming in for web pages and watching shows on a bigger screen.

you are absolutely right mr troll face. right now apple is not making any profits and iphone sales are going down. imagine, more iphones sold than babies born for last quarter. or nearly 400k phones a day. still won’t match androids 700k a day from a gazillion vendors. apple won’t win. people won’t buy. that’s why i bought a nokia n9. coz after using 2 htc androids and 1 motorola android, i only have one conclusion.

without a very good hw manufacturer, android is a joke. android itself is nice. but you can’t use the os without a phone.

Almost every one of my iPhone friends swears by their 3.5″ screen as being optimal and have said my Droid X is far too large.

I guess halfway through the year they will claiming the new size is “revolutionary” and will totally forget about their claim to the iPhone’s “optimal” size.

Yes, hoping for LTE here as well. The almost constant inability to get usable 3G signal (AT&T) inside buildings in Manhattan has become too much of a nuisance. AT&T evidently gave up on their 3G “network” in NYC, and now so am I.
