Go apple!

I might have consider an iPhone 5, but when it just seems like its catching up to the others, why get it?

iOS 5 is really a catch-up to Windows Mobile and Android.  (quite literally) about every single damn new feature that apple was showing of in iOS 5, Windows Mobile, Android and to an extent others as well, HAD that feature.iClould?  Well, again, Google and Microsoft gives you things and have been giving things similar to what iCloud is starting to give since the beginning (quite literally) of those OSes.  The ability to store music in the cloud and stream it from the cloud? The ability to store photos in the cloud? You don’t get anything like that in iCloud. (And I could go on)

Hardware wise? Well, iPhone 5 will be matching the hardware of like all the flagship android phones that are already out.  Plus, you have rumors of android phones coming out with hardware that is much “better” than what the iPhone 5 will have.Then there is the its not the hardware matters, but the overall experience! But that experience is as good, especially on the high end android and microsoft phones. Nexus 3 will give an experinece that is easily as good as the iPhone 5 if not better.

Oh yes, iPhone 5 WILL be a great phone, but it just seems that Google and Microsoft (and the companies they work with) will have products that are as good, if not, flat out better.

The point being, why pick up an iPhone 5, when it (quite literally) won’t bring anything new to the tablet, and is essentially playing catch-up to the competitors?  The only thing it (literally) will have is the flash and bang? The Android handsets WILL be as good (or are already that good) and the Microsoft handsets WILL be as good as well.

Oh indeed it will be a great phone, but why pick it up, when you can get other phones that WILL be as good as the iPhone 5, if not better?

I am a fan.  I am also a Blackberry user.  I haven’t owned an iPhone yet, but I may buy this next one.  We’ll see.

A unified theory of the universe (the iPhone Universe) sounds intriguing.  I predict that the iPhone 5 is going to dominate sales this Christmas.  With 4 major carriers and the absolute perfection that Steve Jobs will require on this next model (after the iPhone 4 debacle), you know it’s going to be a superb device.
