iPhone 5 on sale for $126 at Fry's

It seems that offering the best deal for the iPhone 5 during the holiday season has turned into an all-out war now. Fry's Electronics has undercut Walmart, who previously had the best deal going, by one whole dollar. The electronics retailer is selling the iPhone 5 starting at $126 for the 16GB model, making them the best place to buy a discounted iPhone 5 currently.

While only a one dollar difference isn't a huge deal, it can make all the difference in some cases for potential buyers, and with Fry's getting in on the deal in the first place, they're officially getting their foot in the door on the iPhone 5 price wars this holiday season, and could definitely see a rise in sales.

Walmart is selling the iPhone at $127, while RadioShack and Best Buy have them on sale starting at $150. Fry's is selling the 16GB iPhone 5 for $126 after signing a new two-year contract, and they're also selling the 32GB model for $226, and the 64GB version for $326. It's certainly not a bad deal at all, and it now makes Fry's the best place to buy a cheap iPhone currently.

Target is also having an Apple sale of their own. While they aren't discounting any of the hot items, they are discounting Virgin Mobile's prepaid 16GB iPhone 4S from $449.99 to $399.99, which isn't a huge discount by any means, but it's a good deal if you're searching for an off-contract and last-generation iPhone.
