There have been a few reports that Apple would be releasing two versions of the phone the iphone 4s and the iphone 5 and that High Quality customers would get the iphone 5 first and since Verizon has this injunction going on between Samsung and apple they just might give AT&T the chance to use the iphone 5 with LTE fist and let the rest just use 3g since sprint is rumored to be getting the iphone 5 as well and they only have 3g in the most of the US only a few spots of 4g but that's what i just been reading and well since AT&T and Apple have been together for 3years more then Verizon they just might give it to AT&T fist but i also read that the chipset they were going to use for the 4g network did not meet there expatiation so they did not put it into the phones who knows.....

Back then they could afford not to have the latest and greatest technology in their phones because there was no competition. Now they have to compete with the GS2. And since most phones are sold with a 2 year contract, chances are that the LTE network will be in full swing sometime within that time frame.

Why would they release it on LTE on AT&T? I don't know how you possibly could think this. Why would they release a phone that is available to 5 markets, 3 of which are in one state? They wouldn't put 3G in a phone when it was already becoming the standard. It would definitely have a better chance coming on Verizon's LTE network, as they have hundreds of millions covered already.
