If anything it is amazing how Apple managed to engineer a processor and incorporate new screen technology(much better quality and color accuracy than the GS3 btw) that consume by far less power than their predecessors and with such a small battery still manage to outperform the S3 on every single benchmark.

Te efficiency of a battery would degrade over time, it’d cost more to achieve same performance or more often to recharge over time.
