Idiots…upgrade,,upgrade…upgrade…Pls note…the 64Gb Flash chip was much earlier and now the 128Gb flash chip is available. How about u forget the 4S 64 Gb…and give us the 4Z 128 Gb model.

it’s crap. i won’t upgrade from my 4 to 4S. Apple makes fool out of all their customers, after all this wait this is all they can present? Tired of the bad batter life in the 4 will look into a Galaxy in the near future

When the first iPhone came out, it also was slower (spec wise) than 10 other brands.
When the 3GS came out, tech sites and blogs and there users where also complaining.
The 3GS is still the 2e most sold phone in the US.

By reading the comments, there are a lot of people here who still don’t understand what Apple is doing. And why they still can’t make phone’s and ipad’s fast enough.

What bugs me more is that people are saying that they only changed the processor and camera.
If they did a little research they will find out, that everything inside the phone is new. There is not one chip or layout the same in 4S.

Futher more, every iterations Apple makes with there own A5 soc, makes them harder to match.
For example, the iPad 2 is using a special circuit on the A5 to really render fast photo booth.
That same technology is used in the 4S to make faster pictures (a lot faster) and do face recognition. And this is only an example how they are slowly changing the game.

I have the Bionic and love it. My only complaint. Is camera speed and low light. Not bad considerinv i have had more then 20 different. Phones in 5 years and have alway hadmore complaints then just one feature. I have also owned the iphone..i returned it two weeks later. I would only reconsider another if they offer an iphone with at least a 4″ gorilla screen display, 4g lte, hdmi out and the ability to fully customize my screen to have widgets and not just icones.. oh and flash player too. Shit i think i just described and Android! And by the way “4 out of 5 tablets are ipads” it because 4 out of 5 people are idiots. They buy only on a name they know and what one idiot told them. People throughout history have been persuaded by just a few words. Most people use a tablet to surf the web and they buy an ipad that cant play fash? You mean that thing that is on nearly every website? Does and ipad offer complete customization, hdmi and usb out or more FREE apps? Sorry no dice. Quit trying to defend a company that doesnt care about you and only wants more controll and money and is so far behind that they need to sue more advanced companies over a basic shape that a toddler could match.

It’s getting pretty ridiculous now. After 15 months we get a slightly updated iPhone 4 with a better processor and camera. While the 32gb model will still cost €830 (=$1102.55) here. (So, the 64gb model will be something like €950 (=$1261.88)). These prices are insane, the Samsung Galaxy S II is around €450. I might switch over to that one as I was really hoping for a bigger screen.

For all you who say that this phone is not keeping up with android YOU ARE WRONG!! This is just talking about the hardware of the phone which does not make everything in this phone. Apple has improved the hardware and the processing speed but what makes this phone go is the new iOS 5 software that’s going to be released on this phone which has about 75 new features most of which android does not. The main focus is around the apple cloud. Read about iOS 5 all of you who don’t think this phone is up to par.

Not to troll but really all current “4G” isn’t really “4G” yet. Companies like Verizon that use LTE which is meant to lay the groundwork for LTE-Advanced network capabilities which indeed is true “4G”. Still per customer reports of WiMax, HSPA+ and LTE, LTE tends to be reported as the faster of the current “4G” networks all of which of course depends on location and hardware capabilities. Lets just all be happy this amazing technology is available to us because just a few years ago people didn’t think they’d ever have cellphones as or more powerful than their home computers.

Siri’s an app. If there’s enough demand for this functionality, it will be developed for Android too. However, I can see Siri being useful mainly for those who are physically challenged and have difficulty operating a handset with their hands. If I’m took occupied to put a finger on the screen of my handset, I’m likely doing something I need to focus on… like driving!

I hope Apple improved the antenna placement too! Remember the 4′s problems after release? They should have mentioned that they fixed that issue. If they didn’t, a faster processor may drop your calls faster! Ha ha! Seriously, “Dr. Enge”, I do agree with you. I decided to be open-minded about my upgrade this fall. I’ve used Android for almost two years and I figured I can at least see what “innovations” Apple decided to implement. Ha! They took quite a while this year to release a phone that has the specs of handsets that were released months ago. Oops….
