Marketing – for sure this is true!  But what about the customer satisfaction numbers which are off the charts? Marketing might get people in the door, but they have to be satisfied to keep coming back.

PS: f Flash.  I have never seen anything get my (Windows7) laptop revved up into a tizzy and suck battery like a cheap whore like Flash.  The rest of the world (hell even Adobe) is moving toward HTML5 at a very rapid pace.  Even the Android mfgs don’t want it, they have to include it to differentiate themselves.

However, the whole debate by fan boys on both sides is just a lot of hot air. And that awful argument about apple making shed loads of money..wtf..how does that make the Iphone the best phone out there? That’s just good marketing! 

I win this contest hands down and there is no argument what so ever in my opinion. Heres why? 

I paid FAR less for my HTC sensation and got an great phone at the end of it with a better UI than the IOS. I do not see any justification in buying the Iphone over its competitors because as a package it doesn’t give you more. If it did and could give a better reason than being ‘apple’ and coming in white then I might have considered it. So with all this bs being spouted about apple, Samsung and HTC, all I can say is, I got one the best phones on the market, for a good price, and so I can enjoy spending my hard earned money on more than just my phone, (maybe I’ll buy my girlfriend a present, and get some extra special treatment) and actually HAVE A LIFE beyond my phone. 

Heres a little comparison, A faster dual core phone like Galaxy S2 with more ram and has 7-7.5 hours of talk time while on a iphone dual core 4s does 8 hrs. Does not really seem all that great to me now that the user experience on both devices is similar why would I shell out more for less?

on iphone No HDMI, No USB, No unlock after contract ends, No SDHC, No changeable battery, smaller screen, stuck with international roaming rates when travelling as local sims won’t work (world phone is a joke term they use). Sorry if I don’t seem to be convinced by what an amazing device Apple has unveiled 1.5 years after their last device.

Any Adroid Company: Let make a phone that has more options and more features that pushes the mobile phone industry further. People will pay $ for new technology.

Voice assistant? Android’s had that almost since inception.

Two big features missing, no real benefits in comparison. The 4S is a good entry level phone, no doubt, but its no high end smartphone of 2011, maybe it would stand out if it was released in late 2010. At least a couple of iOS 5′s selling points would be at least original then too.

At this point the 4S is just enough to get the disciples throwing out their iPhone 4s and 3GSs to upgrade, and simple enough to produce so Apple can expand to more carriers/markets (china).
