Nice. Just got my iphone4 2 months ago. I used Siri a lot. Now, it’s inop. What will Apple do next? Turn off your phone when they release a new model?

I have an iPhone4 for less than 1 year and I use Siri just fine. Now it doesn’t work. Existing functionality should NOT be taken away from existing users. Shame on Apple for being ruthless bastards and disabling a working app.

I paid for my siri app. I’m quite upset that I wasn’t notified. That’s wrong of apple to remove it from those who had it already!!!! I NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOTIFICATION THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE REMOVED!!!!! I intend to notify APPLE of my compaint. I am a developer and I wasn’t notified!

I’m done with Apple phones (currently on 3GS) and I’m done with AT&T (can’t make calls in my house, 3G is not real 3G speed, 4G is fake, etc). I wouldn’t be suprised if Apple releases the iPhone 5 in the Spring and screws everyone who just got the 4s.

I feel for those who paid for Siri and have been using it this whole time, but now are locked into their current phone without it. Hopefully Google improves Voice Search on Android enough to compare to Siri in Ice Cream Sandwich.

This is purely bullshit, just got my iPhone 4 not long ago.. and still tied to contract for 24 months to go ( 2 years ). Then they suddenly do this to iPhone 4 users? Cant you imagine the feelings of us who lives in a country where most of the telecommunication companies would just RIP you off just for one iPhone? here in my country it cost 2500$ for one iPhone WITH contract, and we have no choice but to only go for iPhone with contract if we even want an iPhone! Apple made it exclusive to only certain companies.. they dont allow it to be sold freely on the market.. and now they RIP us off and asking us to go for their next phone… I guess it’s time to go for Android.

this is crap i have a iphone 4 white which i took on a 24 month contract few months ago why should i have to upgrade if everything is already in my phone if stupid apple didnt make it stop working its not my frault i paid for the app and the phone then need to sort there selve out as i can see my next option if apple carries on like this is samsung who make a better phone and dont try and rip you off

Marketing nonsense. If the 4s was such a great upgrade to the 4 it would not rely on Siri alone to drive it’s sales.

I have been using Siri since I got my iPhone 4 last winter. About an hour after the 4S announcement it stopped working, couldn’t connect to the servers. I am upset that it’s not being supported on the 4. Based on how well it worked before I feel that the only 4S decision was purely a marketing decision and not a hardware limitation. If enough of us push Apple maybe they will make it compatible with the 4 and iPad 2. There are an awful lot of iPhone 4 owners out there that should make their voices heard at Apple.
