In many countries they are selling at premium ($1000 - $1300) due to shortage but in India many iPhone 4s is having network issues so people are backing out now.

They said they would’ve okayed it a month early if I had wanted, but apple has complete control over their own products. Was told over the phone and foolishly still tried to get one. I all but had the whole process finished and had the thing in my hands when he called vzw and they denied it. I even threatened to cancel my plan and their hands were tied and could do nothing.

He said nobody expected them to have the 4s so everybody just wrote them off. They had tons of both colors and sizes and only charged $188 for the 16gb.

This has never been the case before for previous iphones and i don’t know how accurate these backorder date periods are
