Gay people exist. Apple used the rainbow in its logo. The CEO is a mo, I didnt out him, he outed himself. Apple has some of the best benefits for mos.

They put in a faster processor (one of the fastest out there, if not the fastest) and more RAM, which will help the experience. They put in the best camera, which will be important to some (a lot?) people. They fixed a lot of complaints about IOS (notifications, over the air updates…) and fixed some issues with the iPhone itself (antenna). All in all a very good refresh of the hardware and software. 

If people were thinking about getting an iPhone, this update did not give people any reason to change their mind. I am sure that there were a lot of people coming off contracts for previous models, and really, why would they change for the most part. Apple has a fantastic phone environment that is supported heavily by developers. All of the updates will further enhance the experience. 

Sure there are people out there that will buy anything and everything Apple, but the iPhone has been getting more and more users for years because of the quality of their product. Their product didnt get worse, it got better, so huge sales does not supprise me. They have had huge sales with the iPhone 4.

The real story will be at the beginning of next year when we see the numbers for the past 3 months of sales. Will this iPhone release see a higher growth of market share for Apple, or will Android continue to grow faster?

Depending on the features of Ice Cream Sandwich and the nexus Prime (or whatever it will be called), I may get that phone instead of an iPhone, but I will be making my decision on the “usability and experience” the phone provides, not just hard specs. I feel that Android is ahead in some places and Apple ahead in others.

PS. Dont forget that since Apple only releases one phone per year (or there abouts) that they are less likely to take risky cutting edge technologies and put it in their phone. NFC and 4G are new technologies not available everywhere and could change. With only one phone model you try to make it as appealing as you can for as big an audience as you can target. This is a weakness and strength for the iPhone, you cant put out a risky cutting edge model, but there is only one model to develop for so it will work very well

A million, I can’t even begin to imagine why … Are these 3G owners who are due for an upgrade, new customers on different carriers, or that guy in his mother’s basement?

Apple’s got its users on a leash! Quite the feat!
