I pre-ordered my I phone thru At&t on October 7th. I still dont have my phone what do I do????
Creekside At&t says I have to wait and I cant cancel my order.

Got on immediately to Verizon’s site at 1:00am MST, had no problem getting my phone ordered.

Yeah, why not right? I’m in AZ so I’ve got another 4 hrs till the sun comes up. My boys on the East coast are PISSED right now haha. Oh well. Time to drink another beer. It is kinda funny, I’ve got my war room up right now, iPhone, iPad and Macbook. The Pentagon has nothin’ on me.

Yup. Seems to be whats happening. Maybe Apple should get with IBM for better servers. J/K. The one thing that I can see maybe biting them is paying more for the shipping costs. I clicked a button selecting by the 14th, so they are gonna have to honor that I would imagine. And I keep forgetting, RIP Mr. Jobs.

Yes, it now works. I initially got a reservation # from Apple but then I said “screw that” and went over to the ATT site and ordered. It finally went thru after trying for 2+ hrs.

Just after I was getting the “temporarily can’t take iPhone orders” message on Apple’s site, I kept trying and I think I reserved one for me and another for my wife in two separate transactions. It seems they abbreviated the process and all the sudden it was not impossible to complete. After I entered my Apple ID to confirm the reservation I got reservation numbers and a message saying they will get back to me to collect more information. Much better that way. I had gotten through most of the steps a few times earlier, only to error out each time, until the quicker process took effect (if that’s really what happened – who knows).

my guess is that they want to create flow so they are handing out reservation numbers and stuff and will email you when people are done flooding the website. Then you can finish making your order. So i think we’re save with the reservation numbers and can go to sleep and handle this like normal and CALM individuals.

Lol why do I feel like I’m one of a kind and actually purchased my 4s without any reservation number? I purchased it through the apple store app and when I hit place order I got a huge screen saying thank you and my confirmation number, no reservation number or anything of that sort. FYI, it was an AT&T upgrade, white 16 gb 4s.

best way is go through apple b/c sprint/at&t/verizon are all going to mail it to you and that will take 2+ weeks. But going through apple you have to stand in line or at least thats what it was with the iphone4 last year.
