Not a winner for me. Setting timeZone was already off. Battery still drains fast when I’m not using the phone.

Please update your article to reflect actual times. The picture you posted at the end reflects a total time unplugged of 5 and a half hours. Standby time is not reported as difference of screen on usage and screen time off, it is an exact reflection of total time since phone unplugged.

@Uzytkownik4321First of all learn to read!
It says the battery drained only 5% in 3 hours, for eg. if it was 75%, after 3 hours it became 70%.
So dont be too happy thinking that ur phone(or battery) is the best.

Most people have never fully drained their battery until the phone shuts off.
I did this and it was on 1% for over 2 hours. All the while playing games and watching u tube.
Ever since then my battery has been stellar.

You dont add the two times together btw, the standby time is since it was unplugged, not just screen off.

It seems that there are many possible causes and solutions to the battery drain. Here’s mine:

I eventually noticed that the location services icon on the top status bar was staying purple (presumably, it should only light up momentarily while your location is being determined by an app). When I went to location services under settings, it was apparent that the offending app was Siri (the icon was lit up right beside the “switch”). I powered-cycled my iPhone thinking that would clear it up, but surprisingly it didn’t. So I reluctantly proceeded to turn location services off for Siri. My battery promptly rejoiced, as did I. I later turned the setting back on and thankfully it’s been behaving now for a few days straight. It was clearly hung up for some reason, which would understandably cause a serious drain.

If you don’t have the location services icon turned on, you may want to do that by going into
Settings » Location Services » scroll to the bottom » System Services » scroll to the bottom » enable Status Bar Icon.

Apple seems to have trouble with time zones. It took them forever to get the alarms on iPhones to work properly with DST.

5% in 3 hours? My Galaxy S II can stand 8 hours without decreasing even 1% of battery life.
