The makers of this video are not showing that the wifi network connected to these devices are same.
Surely the iphones are connected to a very fast download speed wifi network like 8 mbps or 10 mbps speed and have connected the lumia to a 1 mbps speed wifi network.
but still the lumia is not slower then the iphones.
Nokia Lumia is just half a sec back to the iphone 4 but is connected to a 9 times slower network than the iphones.

i have no idea, all i know is that my mates iphone (which he sent back) couldn’t connect at all to the internet, i looked this up to find that some people had the same problems, not everyone by any means, but some a bit discouraged by this worry. its doesn’t matter too much cuz if it does happen apple will replace it.

All my friend’s and my iPhone 4S have no problems at all with the calls and connectivity. I guess the problem is only with locked iPhone right?

Evil jimmy: i know right, i swapped from the android platform because i couldn’t be doing with constant floors i was facing with HTC. i got the nokia lumia, went straight to the marketplace. i loved the look of it, it was so different and fresh-looking. but after a while of search for apps i hit the wall, shame really. and yeah, i guess that the developers are going to be the ones who bring windows phone out of the box.

I agree, wp7 is fantastically designed, android requires a real powerhouse to shine, however I just can’t really stand the comparative lack of apps, and with the Gnex, there is a ripe dev scene that I am greatly interested in :)

its really down to what you need, could you imagine how bad your nexus would be if it had a single core proccesor. whereas windows phone is the smoothest of the three and doesn’t have a dual core. i was seriously considering the nexus and the iphone but windows phone won me over, i don’t know why. i think its because i wanted to avoid the big fight between android and iphone.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is amazing . . ever since i bought it. . I am loving every bit of it. . .there is a lot more to the phone than just the browser. . Its a beauty. . It keeps me busy though out the day. . I love my Lumia 800. .the iPhone is nice, but “if you don’t have a Lumia, you don’t have a Lumia.” Wait! have i heard that before??? ;)

i agree with the 4g part but really, are you ever going to have more than 4-5 web pages open, i understand the advantage of dual-core but in the real world my windows phone doesn’t have dualcore and its still the smoothest of the three.

Speed Reading: 9 (we can all assume that this test probably is rigged because microsoft made it)
Sunspider: 2027.5
Acid3: 100

Well, that’s the purpose of including an iPhone 4 with 4.3. That WAS the current config at the time of the claim. And it still beats the Nokia. To me the most important test is Sunspider, and the old config iPhone 4 beat it by alot.

i just did this test myself and as it turns out my nokia lumia on the speed reading did a total of 58 fps and my brothers iphone got a fps of 46. i think that the speed of your internet is really only down to how well your phone connects to the wifi,2g,3g or 4g you use. granted that 3g may be slower than 4g. anyway, i dont want to be a troll but haven’t the iphone 4s’s had a lot of problems with connection and dropped calls.

Hey on the plus side IE9 is not cluttered with chrome.
Safari is faster but visually impairing for me. URL on the bottom the the display is the best mobile browsing experience hand down. Lets just hope the iPhone 5 bumps the display up to 4″ then we will have better comparisons.
