Yawn. Apple are great are marketing their own products in such a way that they try to make the outside world not exist. Front facing cameras, cloud back-up etc all around before Apple introduced them.

Apple could have had the courtesy to deflate the existing rumor charade before it started to rhyme as certainty, same way they had done for iPad 2 (eg. no, it will not feature a retina display). 4S might be a great device, but due to all the context, it feels like a pathetic speed bump on the road to the legendary 5. And for a 4 month delay, too little too late.
