I have tried everything to activate it and jailbreak it..but its not working…it starts off with asking language, then country, then Enable Location Services, then, choosing a wifi network and then it goes on activating it. I have tried at&t sim  which was not activated and i have tried my tmobile sim which was activated. It keeps saying “There is no SIM card installed in your iPhone…” on iTunes and something server unavailable on the phone. What should i do??? any help is greatly appreciated.

Is there anyway that I could either see my backup files or anyway to upgrade to ios5 jailbreak and then unlock the sim?? Any help would be really appreciated as this has been bothering me for the good part of a week!!!

2. install iTunes 10.3 
3. Delete ”C:Users AdministratorMusiciTunesiTunes Library.itl”
4. Put your iPhone 4 in DFU mode
5. Connect to iTunes
6. It will ask you the restore.
7. Click restore to restore your phone with 4.3.5 fw

Note: Make sure you have complete backup before restoration. This downgrade process so you will have no data.
