i have the extracted files for siri. i decrypted the software using VFDecrypt on Mac if you want i can send you those via utorrent (If you dont know whats a bittorrent client you arent fit for siri :P)

Well this won´t work.

The thing is:

first you need SIRI files [you can get them now legally and easily from the ios update for iphone 4S]
second you need a iphone 4S, cause you need the identifer, if you have read out the identifer you can use SIRI on iphone 4 but only 24 hours, then you need a new key…

but as i think, dev team and some other hackers are allready working to solve this
and besides i think “siriproxy” is even better then a apple server, cause you can do more things, and apple doesn´t know all your secrets.

same reason y MS let hackers play with the kinect… open new possibilities of modding and using the device so it can later be officially incorporated by MS themselves…

i.e. Apple is keeping Siri ‘relatively open’ to allow the community to find new modding & usability ideas, exploits etc. perhaps we will see a collaboration between apple and car manufacturers to start the car via the phone, or with thermostat manufacturers to control the temperature, etc. etc. etc.

and all this ‘r & d’ done by the community – at their own expense!!

.thats smart (& evil) business.
