The iphone 4 is without doubt the worst phone I have ever had and far worse than the 3g by miles. It shows poor reception, has poor reception, drops calls and appears to be unintelligible, as every caller I talk to asks me to repeat myself, or reads back the information to me incorrectly.
I have had a software update and a replacement phone and I have always used a protective case to eliminate the holding issues, but it is still total crap. To add insult to injury, I have resurrected my 3g and the latest update makes it now run very slowly, freezing the screen on some aps and email. A known problem but no fix available until the next version and no roll back facility.
I am now back on my old P990i which is over three years old and apart from not giving me thousands of unnecessary aps that In have never needed, works as a phone with email and video calling, fantastically well. Apple sucks, which I always thought all along and I am only disappointed with myself for falling into the hype trap.
