Well, I do not know what the tablet meanings, but I think Apple iPad is deserve it.
I got one for my birthday and love it, also using AirDisplay on it makes me realize how touch-unfriendly Redmond’s OS really is. Same can actually be said for any desktop OS, which is why the iPad works; it is a touch based OS.
Wh’s more, for the things I do… It is perfect! Much nicer than any CPU I have ever owned. For work, all my other computers would do a lot of things I would never use it for, and do it painfully in the process (slow, buggy, etc.). When you get down to what you do most on you personal computer… the iPad does almost all of the things an average user needs, and with a much much nicer U/I. Easy of use, fast, and efficient. The other computer manufacturers could learn a thing or two from this, but even if they do… they will probably screw-up the one they come out with by adding all the crap back in again. For entertainment, now with one of the top features of iPad — movie watching, Im totally sucked in enjoying kinds of videos and movies with iPad, though some times need in the help of iPad video converter from iFunia for lack of flash support. Ugggggg!!!!

Ha! Well-spotted, thanks – that’ll teach me to write before I’ve had coffee…

I do suspect that Apple is eyeing up the lucrative table market, though. When iPhones and Macs have NFC chips built in, they’ll only work if you put them on an Official Apple Table.

You know, after you guys posted that article of “Myth of the Apple Bias”, you really should be more careful not to expose that article for the lie it is. Apple doesn’t have 95% of the table market. If anything, that’s Microsoft Surface.

Now, TABLET marketshare I might believe. But really now, don’t think you can pull a fast one on everyone.
