The iPad still a toy and is of no use what so ever as a functioning tool in the field. VIDEO IN is also a must. What’s the point of all that wonderful resolution if it can’t be used ,other than inspiring frustration and disgust. The camera connection kit , photo steams and the ability to make albums in iPhoto to load on to the iPad are incompetent stop gaps. If Apple wants to intentionally incapacitate the iPad ,so as not to compete with the Macbook Air or Pro, why bother? The pity is the iPad is small and light in comparison and would make an ideal field monitor and image tank, if Apple didn’t intentionally cripple it. Unless they change ,the will fail!!! Archos tablets were able to to these things 6 years ago. If your going to steal ideas at least put them to good use.

span of only a handful of months creates a supply and demand issue. If you
release IPAD 3 and then IPAD 4 you force people to choose from IPAD 3 and IPAD
4 what would be the benefit unless to make up for slumping numbers during
previous quarters. You will create a vacuum that will force a lot of people to
hold off until the IPAD 4 comes out. Not too many people will be inclined to
purchase the IPAD 3 unless the price point is there to entice consumers to buy
the IPAD 3 when the IPAD 4 will debut within the same year. It’s most likely an
effort to prop up profit margins and until IPAD 4 and IPHONE 5 debut. Only
problem is and you see it now is that you will cannibalize your own market to
sustain growth.
