Quad-size of the screen resolution will demand 4X increase of the processor power to handle the smooth and pleasing experience in games and other things.

I do believe you meant to write quadrupled and not doubled. It would take 4 1024 x 768 displays to equal the resolution of one 2048 x 1536 display.
