Hint: it wasn’t to defend Windows. I didn’t “hop all over a minor mistake”, I made an informative post. Dial down the useless hostility and take some reading comprehension classes. 
Either way, if you feel I must weigh in on the article I’ll go ahead and say I’m quite excited for this device and Windows 8 overall.  I’ll be able to run my desktop applications in an environment that would greatly benefit them without having to worry about watered down experiences. Namely Zbrush, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro etc. Having a Wacom enabled tablet for the same price as a 12 inch Cintiq is a godsend. 

Install Ableton Live and Maschine on it and there’s my music production studio as well. Put my Steam account on it and have some of those games available to me. Instead of waiting for apps on my iPad to reach the functionality of the ones on my PC, I can just go ahead and install the PC applications I had all along. I like iOS, hell I’m an app developer on it; but it’s not Windows nor can I personally (operative word there) use an iPad as a laptop/desktop replacement. This device and Windows 8 (hell even 7 really) will allow me to do so, hopefully there are some in the wings with discrete graphics.
