I just purchased the fold up key board from logitech and I cant complain. Yeah it may be a little bulky for a case when it is folded up, but it allows you to use the smart cover for it to protect the screen and once inside the case the back of the iPad is protected to. I have used the keyboard in the classroom(college desks do not give much surface area) and on my couch at home. It takes up less space then a laptop does and is more light weight even with the keyboard case then a lap top is. Just my opinion though.

as an ipad case that logitech fold up keyboard is quite poor. there are lots of other great alternatives including zagg keyboards (who now even makes one of logitech’s ipad keyboard cases)
