Is there any reason PL would have insider information on future iOS device architecture?

Does PL work for Apple? Have they ever worked for Apple?

Does Apple use their product? Has Apple ever used their product?

Perhaps reaching out to PL to ask them why Geekbench now supports multicore processors would have been fruitful. If they had refused to comment, THAT might have made this story plausible.
