lmao calm down fanboy. you do realize that the first ipad was nothing but a big itouch, literally. and you idiots drooled over it even though there was no reason for 95% of people to buy it ESPECIALLY if they had a laptop or itouch. secondly the ipad 2 wasn’t worth the cost to upgrade from the first one, itunes is garbage and so is icloud, stop fanboying so hard there’s a million other tablets that do everything the ipad 2 does for half the price, its people like you who blindly feed apple money and power, its really disgusting

edit: i wont even go into the fact that this was one of the main reasons apple tried to sue everyone since they somehow think that you’re not allowed to have similar looking hardware or software. it’d be like if dell sued acer for putting USB ports on the same location on a laptop as one of theirs. they also tried to sue amazon for using the term app store rofl, again it’d be like if a grocery store tried to sue another one for calling themself a grocery store, its despicable

Looking at “Tablets: an Android 2011 retrospective” (by Chris Burns), posted today – you see a little of the diversity Android could deliver once unleashed.

Apple and iPad have dominated the last two years and will remain strong in 2012; but now Android has some of the tools and diversity required to fight back. I believe Apple is always best when it has credible competition; in 2012 iPad will begin to get some.

The iPad 2 is perfect. I carry it with me everywhere and use it all the time. I’m still on 4.3.3 because I need it to be jailbroken. My favorite jailbreak function is RetinaPad which enables full screen retina resolution on iPhone apps.
