You reported the wrong iOS version and the YouTube video was a poor unscientific demonstration that only showed us that the author of the video doesn’t understand the problem by thinking software updates are going to change human impedance loads on antennas…

A recall doesn’t make sense as you can just return it, have your contract restored, as well as Apple having waived any restocking fees for the iPhone4.

Seems like a reasonable defense on Apple’s part: every user had a 30 day period in which to evaluate the device and return (undamaged) at no charge.

The even took back my bumper without an packaging.

junk… too bad its an apple product… they do have good hardware and i hate to admit software… but the phone side of this… HA!! hello recall!

I bet the conference is a demonstration on how to properly hold your iphone… Steve Jobs plus a couple of top engineers will be present to give the demonstration

I think the only way to hold it properly is when giving it back to The Apple Store clerk and having your contract restored to it’s previous state.

If consumers want something better, they’ve got to give something back ;)
