It is a very bad product, most of the promised features are
just fake, don’t work probably. Once you finally configure it, you need to
configure it again next day ,, don’t know why!!

Also, you will be shocked with its bad speed, when I connect
the HD directly to pc its copy speed exceeds 50MB/S but with this device it is
no more than 2MB/S !!

Simply, it is very bad !

Very unhappy with it. Wouldn't accept this performance as a beta release never mind a production item

I purchased the Iomega iConnect and encountered similar problems that Ken and Phoenix2000 experienced, but with a single drive enclosure. My problem isn't so much with the failure as it is the replacement policy. After contacting Iomega support via a web chat (they charge for everything else, even though I had only had this one week), they agreed to replace the unit and offered me three shipping options: a free, a $25 and a $40 option. The free, or "standard", option requires that the bad unit be returned first before a replacement unit is shipped. The other two paid options pre-ship the new unit and, here's the catcher, they also pre-pay the return of the bad unit. However, the T&C's for the "standard" option didn't make reference to pre-paid shipment of the defective unit. After asking for clarification, I was told that I was responsible for shipment of the defective unit. So, regardless of the shipping option I select, I'm having to pay out-of-pocket for a defective unit that was no fault of the purchaser (me). So, instead of paying the original $89.90+tax, I'm paying $89.90+tax+shipping and to receive a refurbished unit, nonetheless. This appears to be the classic bait-and-switch but using warranty replacement as the mechanism. When I raised an issue with this policy, the support agent replied with a canned paragraph response. When I challenged this response as canned, the agent responded that all of their competitors are doing this as well. I thought it was odd that the Iomega support agent offered to replace the unit after only one question and my replies. As a result of this, I will no longer be an Iomega customer for any product.

To be fair, I think the iomega iConnect does a fantastic job and was a no brainer to set up for those with basic technical knowledge, but I also have the same issue. It seems with any munti drive enclosure, only the primary drive can be mounted/seen. I have 3 Mediasonic Dual Sata Enclosure with 2 2GB Western Digital caviar Green drives each and only the first drive from each is detected.

Lets just hope Iomega does not take a page from WD HD Live and add all the stupid non core media player requests to their firmware like volume control, multilingual support, etc... before they get all the truly core media player requests out of the way.

Iomega...multi drive support for your "NAS FILE SERVER", should be your top and foremost priority in your next firmware release.

You are right, I will try to see if Iomega will fix this. Seems to be isolated to multiple HDD enclosure (tested one on a RAID10 USB enclosure) and it won't see the drives
