Rumors circulated the net a little while ago that the netbook would overtake the notebooks only to be told again later that the tablets would eliminated the netbooks both of which i doubt. It may be more portable than the notebook, but the netbook has limited and less uses than the notebook. It is convenient if all you want is to surf the net, check your facebook, email and send or recieve photos, or videos. The notebook can do all those things in addition to more tasks like online accounting, excel or other more graphic friendlier jobs that a desktop does. With thinner, ultralight and more portable notebooks running Win 8 and run by either Intel or ARM fast processors, the notebooks are gonna still to be around for a long time.

Intel may be showing off some tablets and ultrabooks running Windows 8
at both the Intel Developer Forum and at Microsoft’s Build developer
conference, which kicks off tomorrow. We’ll be covering the Build event
live, so make sure to check back for all the developments. It’s believed
that Microsoft could be giving away a Windows 8 tablet from Samsung, so there should be some good Windows 8 hardware to see this week. <b>I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HD TV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail priices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37" HD TV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for.
