Folks the main reason WHY Mr Otellini is correct is because most Windows Programs on Desktop PC's, Laptops, Servers, were written to work on X86 Intel CPU's and Intel compatable Chip-sets. that means the Intel CPU controlled Windows 8 Tablets that are coming to market this fall will be able run thousands upon thousands of Business, Games, and other special Programs and Peripherals that were written to RUN on or controlled by Windows Computers. Intel CPU controlled Windows 8 tablets
will not be dead on arrival when they hit the market place because they can Run Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 Programs. Folks if the touch screen response is fast and the battery life is decent on the Intel CPU controlled Windows 8 Tablet Computers
then Microsoft at last will have a tablet Computer on the market worth buying that comes with thousands of Apps already written and tested to be used. They will be Awesome. The Ipad will still sell well because of it's Popularity and huge amount of Apps but at Least an Intel CPU controlled Windows 8 Tablet Computer will Offer Business and Regular FOLKS some thing you can use for business or Pleasure.

He might be biased, but he's not the only one who thinks that. Companies/Agencies I know are really only considering iPads or Intel Windows 8 tablets. And any holdout friends I know who say, "I want a Windows tablet." really just mean they want one that can run their old apps (not realizing those old applications won't be that great until they're updated).
