With flock of tiny netbook in the market, it’s about time for us to see one that is targeted towards education market, especially for the younger age tech consumer. Intel Classmate PC aka JumPC aka The Small has arrived in UK.

The Intel Celeron mobile-based system runs at 900mhz with Intel’s 915GMS hipset. It sports 512MB of DDR2, 2GB SSD or with optional 30GB HDD, two USB ports, 10/100Mb/s Ethernet, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, webcam, and 7-inch screen with resolution of 800×480.

The Intel Classmate PC comes pre-loaded with Windows XP Home Edition. The supplier Actronix is bundling an application called EasyBits Magic Desktop to provide child friendly UI. The system costs £239 per unit.
