Intel and Kraft tie up for meal planning solution

Of all the companies that Intel could have tied up with, the company I would have never thought of is Kraft. We all know Kraft, the food company that makes everything from mac and cheese to salad dressing. Intel and Kraft have worked together on a new meal planning solution that will find its way into some grocery stores around the country. The solution uses second gen Intel Core i7 processors inside and allows the shopper to get recipes and coupons.

The meal-planning center can give the user's samples of products too. The system has five different aspects. One is a vending machine and digital signage integration. The Intel hardware also runs a powerful analytics engine to tell Kraft how many users interact with the meal planning solution and give other details about the user. The meal solution center will interact with a special Kraft iFood Assistant app for smartphones.

The tech used in the meal center includes three HP HD resolution monitors, three Core i7 processors and Intel Active Management Technology for remote management and security. The system also runs the Intel AIM suite built specifically for anonymous audience measurement and retail intelligence. This sounds cool and would be a great way for users to figure out what to make for dinner using some Intel tech and Kraft ingenuity.
