I’m neither an Intel fanboi or an AMD fanboi.  I’m more interested in having a system that is future-proof for at least 3 years.  Now I know some of you may say that I should wait until Haswell or the “tock” cycle cause this is just a tick from 32nm to 22nm but I’d like to upgrade and not play the waiting game (which is a neverending game anyhow) and my Conroe system will get kicked down to my SO.

If anyone can educate me further or sway me back to Bulldozer/Komodo/Piledriver, please let me know.  Always interested in learning more and getting an overall objective perspective on these things before I start building/regretting! ;-)
