inMedia tablet PC up for pre-order

I think that most of us expect to see blurry spy pics of new products when they are leaked before the official unveiling of the hardware. We don't expect to see blurry pics from the maker of a gadget after it has been unveiled, but that is exactly what we get from inMedia with its IN Media tablet PC that you see here. The company has announced that the thing is up for pre-order and most of the orders are coming in from China, India, and Africa.

The tablet will be offered in two versions with one having a 7-inch screen and the other packing a 10-inch screen. The tablet is designed to enable social interaction and web access. The tablets both run Android 2.1 for the OS and they will ship in November. The 7-inch machine has a 600MHz processor and a screen resolution of 800 x 480 with 256MB of DDR RAM, 4GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB ports, and more.

The 10-inch version has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 and 512MB of DDR2 RAM, a 1GHz processor, 1.3MP webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, and more. Both of the screen sues are resistive touch capable. The MSRP for the 7-inch tablet is $199 with the 10-inch version going for $299.
