Infiniti QX30 Concept goes official combining coupe and crossover style

Infiniti knows that there are a lot of people out there who would prefer to drive a coupe, but they want to be sitting up higher off the rod and end up with an SUV. To lure these buyers to the Infiniti brand the QX30 concept was teased a bit back in early February with an unveil promised at the Geneva motor show.

With the Geneva motor show underway, Infiniti has now made good on its promise of more details on the QX30 concept, and the vehicle looks very nice. Infiniti says that the QX30 Concept is its vision for its first premium compact crossover. The car has the "sleek" lines of a coupe and the "elevated stance" of a crossover according to Infiniti.

The QX30 has 7.6-inches of ground clearance and measures 174.3-inches long, 71.4-inches wide, and 59.9-inches high. Infiniti also noted that the QX30 concept and the Q30 concept are in the same family. Infiniti fits the QX30 with 21-inch wheels and tires.

The vehicle has roof racks for mounting cargo for longer trips. Many cars lose the ability to have a sunroof with a roof rack, but Infiniti designed the roof rack to frame the view through the glass roof of the concept. We still don't know if Infiniti will make the QX30 crossover, odds are it has a lot of the style of a future production model.
