Inbox by Gmail update calls out your bills with Google Now

This week the folks at Google responsible for Inbox by Google have updated their app to include call-outs to your most important bits. This update includes shipping status updates, frequent flyer numbers, reservations, membership numbers, and package tracking. And bills and bill updates. What you're going to find is your ability to pull each of these bits up with a simple search. These bits can be pulled up with Google Now, not just inside the Inbox by Gmail app.

Google suggests that you'll be in a situation where there'll be "no more digging through individual emails to find what you're looking for." Of course that means Inbox by Gmail is using the information in your emails to provide you with said information, but it's not any less intrusive than using a search function inside your email app would be – nothing more is being shared publicly, that's for sure.

Inbox by Gmail is also bringing on streamlines search results, with "top results" instead of just a chronological list as the basic Gmail app offers.

Top results will be followed by a list of emails in chronological order, but not before you get your answer (more than likely) right out the gate.

You can find Inbox by Gmail available now in both web browser (desktop) and mobile apps. Have a peek and let us know how you like it!
