Additionally, you only hear about complains, never from people which are perfectly satisfied. I had two Apple laptops and friends with (even pretty old) apple laptops, and they were all in perfect shape. And, the retina display is a very sensible technology, I think the “early adopters” always have the problem of some “child illnesses”.
And seriously, for $3000+ you can get two rMBPs 13′: One when they come out, and one 2 years later with brand new and surely better hardware (oh, and you can sell the old one for at least 1000 bucks).
